Sigh. All that snow, no way to ski it.
Re: Cutler River Drainage to be Closed to Public Access
I've seen a few skiers coming down on the cams....looks like another 6+ inches at the top, looks like Saddleback & Sugarloaf would be at full operation if they wanted. I remember one year in the 90's Sugarloaf opened up for Memorial Day weekend because the mountain was still covered. the big corporations don't like running the lifts into May anymore (even before martial law)...I miss the days when Big K competed against the Loaf to stay open the longest....I'm still dreaming of the 1700's when the Presis were snow-covered 11 months per year

6 inches new snow in Pinkham Notch.....not to be outdone- Jay looking good this morning...the wind just sent my neighbor's trash can flying into the woods - May lake-effect snow covering western NY - awesome!

this spring even better than last year - this is the south facing side too, like Oakes Gulf of Katahdin...looks like not only Tucks but Huntington ravine is full of snow...east snowfields must be buried
